The qualifying residential customers who are subscribing to America’s Top 120 or higher, or DishLATINO Dos or higher, they will have the opportunity to receive the $10/month HD add-on package for no additional charge for the life of their account. This means that the qualifying customers need not have to pay $10 per month for the HD add-on package.
This change will also have a significant impact upon the existing customers as well. Those who have been subscribing the “HD & Platinum” package at $10 per month, prior to June 3, 2010, they will automatically be graduated to “HD Free for Life”. They no longer have to enter into a 24-month “HD Free for Life” agreement nor do they have to pay the $99 HD Programming Upgrade Fee.
