The Hellcats Story

The Hellcats TV series revolves around Marti Perkins, who is eying to get a scholarship from Lancer University in Memphis, Tennessee to complete her law degree. She also plans to leave Memphis to start a new life away from her hard-drinking mother. However, her luck has something different in store for her. She loses the scholarship for her drunken and careless mother during budget curtail. With no available option, Marti has to battle for a place on the Hellcats, a legendary cheer squad of Lancer. Although Marti doesn’t like cheerleading, yet she chooses to fight for the spot as it offers a scholarship that Marti was desperately looking for. And to know what happens next, you must follow the Hellcats episodes – it’ll be full of fun, for sure.

The Hellcats TV show is based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by Kate Torgovnick. The TV series, created by Kevin Murphy, is a joint production of Bonanza Productions Inc., Tom Welling Productions, Warner Brothers Television and CBS Television Studios.
