The pilot episode will be filmed in Atlanta and the shoot will be start sometime this week.

This upcoming series is an adaptation of the novel written by Robert Kirkman. As the story moves on, an epidemic strikes the world killing millions of people. This causes the dead to rise to eat the living for their survival. The series is not only being filmed in Atlanta but set in Atlanta as well. According to the outline of one of the scenes, the main protagonist Glenn arrives at a post-apocalyptic Atlanta. This is where the story takes a sudden twist. Before he can find the answer, Glenn is surrounded by the living dead and he gets himself engaged in a never-ending tense fight to save his own life.
