Viewers get set for a visual treat and lots of learning on BBQ, when six pitmasters world’s top chefs take on each other, as Best in Smoke Premieres on Food Network this Sunday May 8, 2011 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Well, they have upped their sleeves for the title of ‘Best in Smoke’ as well. Lots of smoky drama, judgment, revelations, spilling and fillings and coupled with lip-smacking palate awaits you on Best in Smoke show on FOOD Network this weekend!

In the Best in Smoke TV show, competitors will be asked to cook their single best item of barbecue in the first episode ‘Best Bite in BBQ’. However, the judges will just have a single bite of the same. In the following round, participants will be offered with another chance to stay in the chef-game!

Besides, they also have to cook up the model BBQ hors d’oeuvre for an art gallery show in Chelsea. And at the end of the round, one of the chefs will be eliminated. Moreover, competitors in Best in Smoke series have to sell at Battery Park post developing cart food needed for vending in ‘Vending Wars’. Here, the winner not just wins ticket to stay back until the finals, but also gets a seat reserved to judge others! Randy Finch grew up with his dream to become an accomplished architect and chef. After working in several local restaurants as a prep cook, Randy tried his hands for this first time on ice pieces at a restaurant in Savannah, Georgia while assisting a senior ice sculptor. From this time he developed his interest on ice sculpturing.  He continued working as a chef for several years and came in contact with Derek Maxfield who was also passionate about ice sculpturing. Slowly Randy and Derek started their own firm Ice Sculptures Ltd and started training students on ice sculpting. The duo designed some of the most precious masterpieces out of ice. From animal figures to massive life like sculptures they did all that grabbed the attention of people. They started adding talented artists to their team and continued their creative work.

Now you get the opportunity to watch them on TV only on Ice brigade Food Network. See how these craftsmen use their chisels, hammers, chain saws and other tools to create fresh original ice figures. Feel the chill; discover how these ‘cool’ revolutionaries defy all the boundaries and limitations to chase their icy passion.

Chopped $50,000 Tournament: Watch Chopped Champions on Food Network

Hey guys, consider yourself a ‘Chopped’ lover? Watched all the previous seasons of the popular series on Food Network? Enjoyed each of the Chopped episodes? Well, get ready for something different this time. Four previous Chopped Champions are coming up once again to compete with each other in the five-part Chopped $50,000 tournament. The Chopped Championship series is starting off from Tuesday, August 31, 2010. So, get ready to catch the Chopped chefs sharpening their knives for Chopped Champions premiere on Food Network tonight at 10 pm. Tune in to your DISH Network to catch the action. The satellite TV provider is known for offering an extensive range of programs through its various DISH Network channels.

Chopped on Food Network is a reality cooking TV series that has created huge interest since its very first season. Created by Michael Krupat and produced by Daniel Kay, Chopped features a competition between four chefs, who with basket full of three to five ingredients, prepare delicious dishes using all those ingredients.

In Chopped Champions, the previous 16 winners of Chopped will fight with each other for the $50,000 stake. It’s going to be an exciting series as the competitors will be given more challenging tasks this time, which will bring out their creativity at its best. When they see Rocky Mountain oysters in the appetizer basket, it demands some serious skills to handle it. It may also work on the competitors’ nerves as you can see one of the chefs making mistake with herbs in the Entrée Round. In a situation, the Chopped Championship finalists open up the dessert baskets to discover potatoes and sticky candy bars. It certainly requires best of creative ideas to handle the situation. My husband came up with a really cute term for it: ‘It’s an iPhoney.’”
